The capitol of Sweden, Venice of Scandinavia, situated on 14 islands between the Baltic Sea and the Lake Mälaren. Well known Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf called it the 'swimming city'. With 1.5 million inhabitants, Stockholm is the biggest city in Sweden, but it is also an oasis of wide parks and dominated by water wherever you go.
